Adventureland, despite what you'd expect from the director of Superbad, is a solid romantic drama about a graduate student who can't get a job anywhere except at the local amusement park. The film isn't as funny as hoped, but the characters are well written and the love story is a lot better than most. Jesse Eisenberg is perfect in the lead, awkward, clever and likable. The rest of the cast is spot on, filled with great character actors like Ryan Reynolds, Martin Starr and Bill 
Hader. The film is very music-centric, and the music is terrific with tracks by The Velvet Underground, Lou Reed and other good 80's bands. Adventureland is a charming and refreshing film that offers subtle laughs and a good story. You'll like it if: You like indie dramas, romantic comedies, Jessie Eisenberg, Superbad or Dazed and Confused.

I just saw this movie. It was pretty decent, a little dry. Lots of hot chicks tho! I love the "Boner" part, ha ha
