Amélie is a funny and touching French comedy about a young woman in Paris who decides to change peoples lives for the better, and in doing so, falls in love. The whole movie has a fairy tale feel to it, masterfully crafted by director Jean-Pierre Jeunet. Amélie was quirky before it was popular to be quirky, and it works perfectly, thanks to great writing, and Audrey Tautou's fantastic job as Amélie.
