The Talented Mr. Ripley is a devastating and gorgeous psychological thriller about a charismatic, young underachiever who's sent to hunt down a spoiled playboy in Italy, and bring him back to work for his father. But when he gets there he begins a strange relationship with the playboy and his wife. The acting is absolutely perfect as Matt Damon and Jude Law effortlessly play off each other, and the rest of the cast, including Philip Seymour Hoffman, Cate Blanchett and Gwyneth Paltrow, is amazing.
