"Altered State Police"

Super Troopers (2001)
Directed by Jay Chandrasekhar, rated R, 100 minutes

Super Troopers is a clever and riotously funny film about a group of slacker state troopers who try to save their jobs by out-doing the local police department. The characters are surprisingly well written and have the charm of the characters from the classic stoner comedies. The story isn't much but a way to string a long a series of sketches, but the sketches are funny and work as a clever satire of the police. Filled with memorable gags and hilarious lines of dialogue, Super Troopers works so hard to make you laugh, you can't help but enjoy it. You'll like it if: You like raunchy comedies, stoner comedies, movies about cops, Harold and Kumar go to White Castle, The Big Lebowski or The Hangover.
