"Did I tell you how divinely and utterly happy I am?"

Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961)
Directed by Blake Edwards, not rated, 115 minutes

Breakfast at Tiffany's is a charming and delightful romantic comedy about a struggling writer who meets a strange New York socialite when he moves into the same apartment building. Audrey Hepburn, in perhaps her most memorable performance, is wonderfully quirky and fun to watch as Holly Golighty, and George Peppard perfectly compliments her. Since all the characters are brilliantly developed, you can't help but get caught up in their lives, and the visual style is enticing but subdued. Breakfast at Tiffany's impeccably balances lighthearted comedy with surprisingly tense drama, to create an unpredictable and engrossing film. You'll like it if: You like romantic comedies, films set in New York, Audrey Hepburn, The Graduate, Annie Hall or Roman Holiday.
