An Eye-Opening Documentary

The Thin Blue Line (1988)
Directed by Errol Morris, not rated, 103 minutes

The Thin Blue Line is shocking and revealing documentary about a man on death row for murder, who seems to have not committed the crime. The film takes a disturbing look into the judicial system and exposes a sad mockery of justice. The film avoids too many talking heads with interesting and well crafted reenactments of the crime, and Philip Glass' music is terrific. The Thin Blue Line is an engrossing and enraging film, with a powerful and simple message. You'll like it if: You like crime movies, documentaries, Touch of Evil, In Cold Blood or Paradise Lost.
